Who We Are

Bands Battling Cancer is an organization committed to helping young people use music to advance the fight against cancer. Founded in 2009, and now entering its seventh year of operations, Bands Battling Cancer has raised over $40,000 to support the work of the American Cancer Society helping people stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer.

In addition to our primary fundraising mission, Bands Battling Cancer has provided opportunities for more than 40 young bands to meet, perform and received constructive feedback from judges in the music business. From among the bands that have performed for Bands Battling Cancer, several have gone on to perform at Lollapalooza, The House of Blues and other major music venues.
